Gambit - Age of Apocalypse

In the alternate timeline known as the Age of Apocalypse, Gambit was one of Magneto's X-Men. He tried to have a romantic relationship with Rogue, but she opted to be with Magneto. This caused Gambit to leave the team and started his own group, the X-Ternals, to commit small-time raids against Apocalypse's regime. He would later find love with the former singer Lila Cheney. In this universe, Gambit used small energy-charged blades instead of the usual playing cards.
